1. Refund Policy Overview

Find Islam Path offers case-by-case refund evaluation for most products and services. This page outlines our refund standards and process.

Key Principle: We want you satisfied, but we also protect intellectual property and prevent refund abuse.

2. Digital Products (Books & Courses)

14-Day Window (Unopened Only)

Eligibility:

  • Purchase within 14 days

  • Material NOT downloaded or accessed

  • Proof of purchase provided

Process:

  1. Email: contact@startislampath.com

  2. Subject: "Refund Request - [Product Name]"

  3. Include order number and proof of purchase

  4. We'll respond within 5 business days

Refund Processing:

  • Approved refunds issued within 7-10 business days

  • Credited to original payment method

  • Your account access revoked upon processing

No Refund if Downloaded/Accessed

Final Sale Policy: Once you download or access the material (opening videos, viewing PDFs, accessing course lessons), the sale is final.

Why?

  • Digital products cannot be unsold or resold

  • Once accessed, the intellectual property is delivered

  • Preventing refunds after download protects our business model

  • Reduces refund abuse and account sharing

What Counts as "Accessed"?

  • Clicking a download link

  • Opening or viewing a PDF

  • Playing a video lesson

  • Viewing course lesson page

  • Accessing any material content

  • Joining the course community

Note: Simply purchasing does NOT count as access. You can view purchase confirmation and account without triggering the final sale rule.

Quality or Technical Issues

If materials have technical issues:

  • Missing lessons or broken links

  • Corrupted files

  • Incorrect material delivered

  • Content doesn't match description

Eligibility for Partial/Full Refund:

  • Request within 30 days

  • Provide evidence of issue (screenshot, error message)

  • We'll attempt to fix the issue first

  • If unfixable, full refund granted

3. Memberships (Monthly & Annual)

Cancellation Policy

How to Cancel:

  • Log into account → Membership → "Cancel Membership"

  • Or email: contact@startislampath.com

  • Cancellation effective immediately

  • No refund for current billing period

Pro-Rata Refund (First 3 Days)

If you cancel within 3 days of a new billing charge:

  • You may be eligible for a pro-rata (proportional) refund

  • Example: Cancel 10 days into a 30-day month = refund for remaining 20 days

  • This is at our discretion; request it by emailing contact@startislampath.com

After 3 Days = Non-Refundable

  • After 3 days, the billing period is non-refundable

  • Cancel anytime to avoid future charges

  • Access continues until renewal date unless cancelled

Access After Cancellation

  • Community forum access revoked immediately

  • Exclusive member content unavailable

  • Downloadable materials remain accessible (if previously downloaded)

  • Coaching calls removed from schedule

4. Live Services (Coaching, Consultancy, Group Coaching)

Service Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by You:

  • 24-hour notice required

  • Cancellation/rescheduling via email

  • Less than 24 hours notice = session fee forfeited (non-refundable)

Cancellation by Us:

  • We reschedule at no charge

  • You receive alternative date/time

  • No penalty to you

No-Show Policy:

  • If you don't appear, session fee is forfeited

  • We may not reschedule no-shows

Refund Eligibility (Case-by-Case)

Refund requests for services are evaluated individually.

Refund APPROVED If:

  • Session was not conducted (we cancelled without rescheduling)

  • Technical failure prevented session (our internet/platform failure)

  • Service quality significantly failed to meet advertised standards

  • You discovered service is not appropriate for your situation (within 14 days)

  • We cannot provide the service as promised

Refund DENIED If:

  • You simply changed your mind

  • You didn't like the coaching style

  • You didn't apply the advice or get desired results

  • You had unrealistic expectations

  • Request is beyond 14-day window (unless exceptional)

  • You cancelled with less than 24-hour notice

Refund Request Process

  1. Email: contact@startislampath.com

  2. Subject: "Service Refund Request"

  3. Include:

    • Order/invoice number

    • Service date

    • Description of issue

    • Evidence (screenshots, notes, etc.)

  4. We respond within 5 business days

Service Credits

Instead of refunds, we may offer:

  • Credit toward future sessions

  • Rescheduling to a different coach

  • Supplementary materials or resources

  • Extended access to course materials

5. Group Programs & Cohort-Based Courses

Cohort-Based Program Refund Policy

Before Program Starts:

  • 14-day money-back guarantee

  • Full refund if requested before program launch

After Program Starts:

  • Case-by-case evaluation

  • Refunds generally NOT available unless:

    • Program cancelled or postponed

    • Significant service failures

    • Demonstrable health/personal emergency

Why Limited Refunds?

  • Cohort spaces are limited

  • Other students' experience affected by members joining/leaving

  • Materials are released, cannot be "undelivered"

  • Instructor time is allocated per group

6. Payment Plan/Installment Refunds

Full Refund During Plan

If you want a refund while on a payment plan:

  • Refund covers purchased product (if not accessed)

  • Refund does NOT include installments already paid

  • You lose access to the product immediately

  • Remaining installment payments are waived (no further charges)

Partial Refund

If you're in an installment plan and request refund:

  • First lesson accessed = final sale

  • Remaining installments are non-refundable

  • Access revoked immediately

7. Special Circumstances & Exceptions

Exceptional Cases

Refund requests beyond the normal policy may be considered if:

  • Medical emergency or hospitalization

  • Family death or severe loss

  • Job loss or financial hardship

  • Significant personal crisis

  • System error on our part (double charging, etc.)

  • Provide brief explanation and context

  • Decision made at management discretion

8. Refund Process & Timeline

Step 1: Submit Request

Email contact@startislampath.com with:

  • Order number

  • Product/service name

  • Purchase date

  • Reason for refund

  • Supporting documentation (if applicable)

Step 2: Review (5 Business Days)

We review your request and may:

  • Approve refund

  • Request additional information

  • Offer alternative solution (credit, rescheduling)

  • Deny refund with explanation

Step 3: Processing (7-10 Business Days)

  • Approved refund processed to original payment method

  • Your account access revoked

  • Confirmation email sent

  • Check your bank account for credit

Step 4: Completion

  • Refund appears in your account (varies by bank)

  • Some banks take 5-10 business days to process

  • Contact your bank if refund doesn't appear

Total Timeline: Submission → 5 days review + 10 days processing = up to 15 days

9. Refund Restrictions & Policies

Non-Refundable Items

These CANNOT be refunded under any circumstances:

  • Gifts or gifted courses

  • Group program sessions already attended

  • Community forum posts/discussions

  • Affiliate purchases

  • Courses accessed more than 30 days ago

  • Services with non-refundable terms (clearly marked at purchase)

Chargeback & Dispute Policy

If you dispute a charge with your bank/credit card company:

  • Immediate account termination

  • All access revoked

  • Refund dispute amount = automatic ban

  • Permanent record of dispute

Why? Chargebacks indicate distrust. We'd rather discuss refund directly.

Refund Fraud Prevention

We monitor for and will deny refunds if:

  • Multiple refund requests from same account

  • Refund request after 1+ year of access/use

  • Download then request refund (pattern)

  • High-value refund requests without reason

  • Abuse of refund policy detected

10. Membership Dues & Recurring Charges

Cancellation Prevents Future Charges

  • Cancel anytime via account settings

  • Cancellation prevents next renewal charge

  • Your membership continues until renewal date

  • No refund for current period after cancellation

Subscription Refund Rules

Monthly Membership:

  • Non-refundable after 3 days of new charge

  • Pro-rata refund available if cancelled within 3 days

Annual Membership:

  • Non-refundable after 3 days of new charge

  • Pro-rata refund available if cancelled within 3 days

  • Example: Cancel 3 months into 12-month membership = refund for remaining 9 months (at our discretion)

11. International Refunds

Currency & Exchange Rates

  • Refunds credited in original payment currency

  • Exchange rates at time of refund (not original purchase)

  • Banks may apply their own conversion rates

  • We are not responsible for exchange rate losses

Delayed Refunds (International)

International refunds may take:

  • 10-15 business days for processing

  • Additional time for bank/country

  • Contact your bank if delayed beyond 21 days

If we deny your refund request:

13. Changes to Refund Policy

  • This policy may be updated anytime

  • Changes apply to new purchases

  • Previous purchases under previous policy terms (generally)

  • Significant changes announced via email
